Sawhorse Recording Studios, located in the South St. Louis "Dutchtown" neighborhood, is one of the area’s top recording & mixing facilities is known for its superb blend of state of the art and vintage equipment. Since 2005, Sawhorse Recording Studios has continued the tradition of technical expertise and excellent service founded by Jason McEntire in 1996. With two studios capable of meeting the needs of the industry's most discerning clientele, Sawhorse Recording Studios features a seasoned, dedicated owner/engineer as well as the ability to draw from a diverse pool of highly qualified engineers, producers & musicians. Additionally, the studio's support staff takes pride in anticipating and exceeding clients' needs with professionalism and discretion. Studio One
Studio One offers a large control room with a 56 channel SSL 4000E. Pro Tools HD with plenty of processing power. 32 inputs & outputs via Lynx Aurora converters. Large tracking room with two isolation rooms.​

Whether tracking a 4 piece rock band or a 14 piece big band, Studio One has got you covered. With a Baldwin baby grand pano, Hammond B3 & Leslie 122, Fender Rhodes, lots of guitar amplifiers & plenty of channels to stretch out your mic inputs & mix returns... blah blah blah. You're gonna love it here & feel like a rock star!
Studio Two
Studio Two is well outfitted suite loaded with Pro Tools HD. 16 inputs via Digidesign 192. A large, lively, tracking room featuring brick walls, hardwood floors & isolation booths.
This is a great space to start recording projects as well as a superb space to mix. Often recording projects are started in Studio One and moved to Studio Two to continue with editing & overdubs. This studio is ideally suited for vocal overdubs, editing, & mixing, but it's large & lively recording space makes is a very desirable option for recording drums & strings.
